About my workshops

Wildlife photography is a game of hide-and-seek.

I spend a lot of time outdoors. As a wildlife photographer I know that this can be risky and can require a lot of fieldcraft and camera skill, a lot of research and a bit of luck. I am a qualified teacher and workshop leader, who offers a variety of wildlife photographic workshops, small group photo workshops and one to one tuition. These workshops allow enthusiasts of all ages and experience the chance to capture wildlife. They are designed to help you improve in all the aspects of wildlife photography, while learning about the environment and the wildlife that it supports. My workshops are planned in detail, enabling every participant to get the very best from my photographic knowledge and fieldcraft expertise. All the locations chosen for these workshops offer unrivalled photographic opportunities and mostly private access only.

  • You are not just left to your own devices to chase the images you desire, you will be given help, guidance and hands-on advice to achieve your goals.

  • I am a relaxed, easy-going, experienced photographer with the ability to transfer that knowledge to the participants of my workshops.I have a strong training background and I am confident in delivering training to a wide and diverse audience.

  • A relaxed and informative day. Although you will primarily be with me to learn, the emphasis is on a relaxed and enjoyable day with the goal of capturing ‘that’ shot.

  • The Brown Hare and Wild Deer workshops are designed for one to one tuition.
